Established in 2012, the Make A Change Foundation NW, or "MAC Foundation" as we call it, was born out of a desire of one family to honor Francis "Brownie" Brown, the MAC Foundation Vice President's late father. Brownie was a World War II Veteran who loved his country, loved kids and saved his pennies year round for the Children's Orthopedic Hospital. Today, his memory lives on, as the MAC Foundation partners with members of the community, local organizations and businesses to provide for families and children in times of need and crisis. Each year, the motivation and giving spirit among donors has grown by leaps and bounds, and as a result, we take pride in knowing that "Brownie's" memory lives on in the smiles of children who gain independence and moments of love and happiness in a sometimes unforgiving world. We are here to make a difference by making a change and we’d love for you to join in with us.
HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?
The biggest assistance you can provide is a monetary donation. Through your generosity and our network, the MAC Foundation is able to get special deals that are not readily available by independent purchase. The power of your gift is amplified with the Make A Change Foundation.
We are a Washington State registered charity and a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization with 100% volunteer support which means every dollar that is donated is fueled into the community. Every donation will receive a tax deductible receipt for your charitable contribution.
Another way we greatly appreciate your assistance is in helping us get the word out about the Make A Change Foundation and the work we do. We invite you to “like” us on Facebook and share our posts!
WHAT HAPPENS WITH YOUR CHARITABLE DONATION?
Each year, we carefully vet and hand select charitable organizations that align with our sole mission and purpose of providing for families and children in times of need and crisis. In every decision we make, we ensure we are leaving a positive and lasting impact. Please see our charitable history page to read about past and upcoming giving seasons. We’d love for you to follow along with us on Facebook to see your donation in action.
